Over and over again, people dream big dreams and have great aspirations and intentions.

And for most their dreams remain just that - dreams.

It need not be that way for you.

Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It is too hard. It is unattainable for me.

If everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, no breakthroughs in human achievement and no personal development or growth.

Scientists were puzzled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. In theory, they said, it was not possible for the bumblebee to fly. Fortunately for the bumblebee nobody has told it so. As a result fly it does.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will in no way be able to break past what you consider an obstacle.

You need to break down your dream into small achievable steps and just keep taking the small steps until you arrive at your goal. Goals you thought were not possible become easier to bring into reality.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For you to achieve your dreams will take effort and discipline. So think big and work hard to accomplish your dreams.

First you need to prepare for success by asking yourself these questions.

1. What do I really want?
There are most likely so many things you want to do with your life. The secret is to narrow things down to your top five and then to keep that rolling throughout your life. So list your five and be clear and specific. So you know what you are aiming for. After all if you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know when you’ve got there!


2. What do I really need to change to get what I want?
The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change', and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Do you need to change your attitude or beliefs? The way you live or your relationships. Always remember you can only change yourself or your reaction or action to things. Celebrate and strengthen your own uniqueness.

3. What action am I prepared to take to achieve my goal?
Lot’s of people have a dream and slight desire to be rich but are not prepared to invest time or money to bring it into reality. They prefer to watch TV rather than work on building their fortune. They like their money ‘safe’ on deposit. They want to be fit but don’t want to take any exercise.

Whatever you decide always aim to be happy.

Listen to the song 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' by Bobby McFerrin and try to be like that.

The great Abraham Lincoln, observation of life was that, "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

So make up your mind to live a happy, resilient and optimistic life. Happiness is a way to make your life more wonderful and healthy. The choice is really simple choose to be happy.

As you work toward your goals.
Manage your time well because it is invaluable and too important to waste.

It is your most valuable resource.

Time is not money but it is life so use it well and only work on things that you feel worthy of your time.
