This is a personal review of my experience with the Telecom Plus Business Opportunity and as a Utility Warehouse distributor.

I would not recommend this as a business opportunity as it is very restrictive.

The Utility Warehouse Discount Club only operates in the United Kingdom.

So it is of limited appeal to people who want to build a serious 'money making' business. My view is why limit yourself to one small country when in the day of the Internet you have all the world as a marketplace!

If you are looking to join just to get cheaper gas and electricity prices you need to get the best compare gas and electricity prices and deals for your particular circumstances before you go any further.

Here is a review I've written on - the Utility Warehouse Broadband Telecom Plus a Scam or Not.

I QUIT AS A UTILITY WAREHOUSE TELECOM PLUS DISTRIBUTOR because I didn't think utility warehouse ran a very professional or an up to date online model.

There are much, much better ways to make money.

I resigned as a distributor on the 23/10/2010 after a series of emails initiated by Telecomplus.co.uk,which you can see here.

When I set up an independant website I was immediately challenged by Telecom plus. Who said I should submit all web pages, videos etc for a review by them for a hefty fee. I had used the company approved text but yet I had to submit this 'approved text' for approval. It seems to me it's just another way to get cash from distributors.
You have to pay to promote the company.   
  
        

I did all that Telecom Plus asked ...  and I recieved this email in May 2010 ;

Hello Malcolm, Thank you for the changes you have made to your webpages, I can confirm these pages are no longer an issue in their current state. Thank you also for removing the videos, as requested. THE BENEFIT OF THE DISPUTE TO ME...

.. was to show me that the problem with the business opportunity at Telcomplus was that I was not in control of it.

I didn't own the asset.

At any time the 'company' could pick a fight over any issue to get me to comply with their opinion.

If I didn't bow to their wishes they could terminate my position, regardless of any commissions I was owed or how big a team I had built up. Overnight what one had worked for could be taken away because of someone elses 'fickle' decision.

That's not for me.

I prefer to be in control and own all my money making assets Utility T+  doesn't give you that!
